Grew up in the 60s so that's where my musical interests began and where my influences are, for the most part. I like melodic stuff, like much of Beatles' work and others. I want to write the kinds of songs that people want to sing in the shower. :-] The tunes I write -- which have no lyrics but have germs of ideas for them -- sound to me like they could have commercial success if I (or a collaborator) could craft clever, catchy lyrics to go with what I feel are pretty catchy tunes. Not a performer myself, but I love to play piano and guitar. My first inclination when I first learned these instruments was to make up my own tunes, so my repertoir is primarily my own stuff. I have about 20+ tunes that I've written over the years.
