About
My name is Carlos Tabora. I am a pianist and songwriter living in Orange County, California. My main influences include Billy Joel, Elton John, Ray Charles, Lionel Ritchie and Jim Brickman. I'm more of a writer than performer and my claim to fame includes winning the Billboard World Song Contest several years ago with my song, How Your Love Changes Everything, co-written with Gina M. Paoni. "I can certainly see why 'How Your Love Changes Everything' won such a major award, and wouldn’t be surprised to see it take off. Very well done!" ---- Kathy Parsons, Solo Piano Publications While my main source of income has been doing marketing for organizations in the real estate, publishing and financial services industries, my passion has always been writing songs. I'm a big believer in writing timeless, universal songs that impact people emotionally and spiritually. I've also had other successes including getting my first song publishing agreement with My 3 Kids Music and Bob Dellaposta in Nashville as well as having one of my songs recorded by an independent artist. I'm currently writing more songs and building my song catalog. I'm always looking for co-writers and am working hard to improve my songwriting craft. I'm a member of ASCAP, SongTown USA, Global Songwriters, Songsalive! and other music organizations.
