I am a singer/songwriter looking to collaborate with someone of like mind. Ideally I am looking for a female singer/instrumentalist to compliment my songs, and visa-versa. I play guitar mostly, with some bass and uke, and primarily focus on original songs. My influences cover a large spectrum of musical styles, but my songs are in a folk/rock/alt-country vein. Sprinkles of Band of Horses, U2, Coldplay, Wilco, War on Drugs, David Gray. . ... I have about 30 songs, but would love to share mic time and musical direction/decisions equally. Looking to get good at playing our songs, write some things together, give and receive ideas to make the songs better, and develop a musical rapport. I am not young, and not old, and I dont really care about age, as long as we work well together. I have been in a band and played out in clubs, but that is not the immediate goal. If it were to go in that direction, that would be great, but let's learn 10 of each other's songs first. Hoping to practice 2 times a week. I work regular business hours, so evening/weekend practices work best. I'm thinking we meet over a coffee, discuss our music, goals, etc,
