I'm a singer/songwriter/guitar player/bass player who is looking for a keys/synth player who wants to create some atmospheric indie rock. I've been writing songs for 20 years, and melody comes pretty easy to me. I've mainly written both indie rock and Americana music, but really kind of want to work with a keys/synth player to see where things go. I'm very good with moods and creating both melodies and interesting textures. I'm a very solid guitar player and bass player. I can do a song justice on either. I enjoy all kinds of music and I can usually work within most styles well. However, I'm thinking of a sound that incorporates the Cure, New Order, Talking Heads, Joy Division, and mix in some darkness like the Black Angels, Killing Joke, Nine Inch Nails and Ministry. I'd like to create sonic textures, but have bass and drums being the driving force while the guitars and synths are textures and layers. I work in Pro Tools. I have quality equipment and mics. I believe I have good ears and can hear things well.
