Growing up I played brass instruments in high school band, along with guitar and bass guitar in jazz band and pit band. We had a few garage/basement rock bands back in the day. Along the way, I learned a little drums and keyboard along with some basic recording and producing skills. I got away from music for a while because other things were getting in the way, but I am back at it these days. I have some local guys I jam with, but I am looking for something else musically now. I want to turn my music ideas into songs, but I really don't write lyrics or sing, which brings me here. My favorite genres are Vietnam/Woodstock-era rock, Southern Rock, and 90s Alternative Rock and Grunge. Other really important music in my life comes from Pink Floyd, Stevie Ray Vaughan, and Guns 'n' Roses.
