About
Music has been important throughout my life. Over the years, I've played in several local bands and still attend jam sessions and open mic events. With the free time available in retirement, I have had more time to devote to creating music. I have found it easy to create melodies and chord progressions, but I am slow with lyrics. I have my own home recording studio using Studio One Professional as my DAW of choice. I use a Tascam US-16x08 interface. My mic collection includes a Shure SM7B, Røde NT1A and a Røde NT-3. Unfortunately, I have arrived at the age where my vocal range has decreased and the available notes sometimes warble without warning. I tend to write softer, ballad-like songs rather than raucous, hard-driving material.
