I have written songs my entire life, but have never been in a position to make a career of it. I have a full-time job and family, but know that songwriting is something I need to do, and want to take it to the next level. I am determined to change what I have been doing in hopes of seeing some results, whether better songs or commercial success. I'm good at hooky melodies, but lyrics don't come as easily to me. My songs are essentially pop, though some lean country pop, which is a good genre for me since I write a lot of ballads. I have found that through co-writing, I've co-created some of my best songs, and would like to write with someone who shares my passion and compliments my skills, such as someone more in touch with what's happening in the music world now.
