About
I'm an easy going, co-operative and creative ex-teacher who is looking for someone who enjoys the process of collaborating and ideally has some ability as a performer. A singing guitarist maybe? I'm looking for someone who's open-minded and easy going. I should add that I've got plenty of songs and potential songs to share / develop. It would be brilliant to hear a talented musician perform them.

Songwriting Achievements:
I have written songs on and off for a number of years. As a youngster, the songs were full of typical teenage angst. As a teacher, I wrote a variety of songs according to the needs and wants of my students - comedy, Christmas, a school musical, etc.
Outside of school, I have written songs which express my personal emotions and interests but also which respond to a specific challenge or brief.
I've been on a few song writing courses. In the last two years, I spent a week in Carcassonne on a course led by Dean Friedman (a well known singer song writer) and this year a week long course led by Willy Russell (of 'Blood Brothers', 'Educating Rita', 'Our Day Out' fame). The positive response I received from them for my compositions and performance and the opportunity to collaborate with other song writers has reinforced my confidence and enthusiasm to look for opportunities to collaborate further. Who knows where this may lead to?
Personal Songwriting Goals:
find someone creative to collaborate with, possibly to perform with / songs recorded to a professional standard. Who knows where this may lead to!
Collaboration Goals:
mainstream artist release, niche/independent artist release, just for fun
