About
Hi. I've only really co-written with one person so I'm really interested to see how other people approach writing. I'm also interested to get some feedback on material from industry people (eg. music publishers/solicitors). I've been writing songs for over 30 years. I spent 20 years playing in a non traditional folk band, headlining in folk clubs throughout the uk, appearing at festivals and making a few trips into Europe. I am not a big fan of traditional folk music though. I think I ended up playing in this genre because I like acoustic guitar and the scene is very accessible. I have always been interested in Electronic Music. (I use Propellerhead Reason as my DAW). I like coming up with ideas on acoustic guitar and also using a computer (drum machines and synths etc.) I particularly like building vocal harmonies.
