My goal is to write songs that I am proud of and that may be picked up by another artist. There was a time when I wanted to break into pop music as an artist myself, and I spent several years working on that goal. It was a fabulous time in my life. Although I am no longer pursuing this dream, I still sing. I still perform. And I've always worked really well with musicians in writing songs. I have several song concepts I've written lyrics and a melody for, and have a pretty good vision for what the song should sound like and achieve. Today I am interested in writing in the folk/rock/pop styles I grew up with, and I'm drawing on those influences. I've also worked with a music track and provided the vocal melody and lyrics. I perform live now in the NY & CT area, and would love to bring some original music into the show, but that is not my primary goal here.
