Hello, I am a Texas songwriter pursuing my songwriters dream. At the age of 13 I wrote my first song, about my mother who left our family and then I became the women of the house. I don't know what happens with a writer and how they can get into the business, only that in my opinion and the critique of others, I have gotten good feed back on the lyrics I have written so far. I am a distance relative of MAC DAVIS and I had a cousin who played in George Jones band. I have nieces that sing and play several instruments and we all love to sing, mostly country music but here in the last few weeks I have been jotting down Christian songs there is also a story about my distance relatives that use to live across the holler from Loretta Lynn and even married one of her cousins.
