About
Hi! I'm from the Netherlands! As a child, I've performed in professional musical theatre productions and I'd love to be able to perform a lot again, but now I want to perform as myself, showing part of myself to listeners, instead of playing a role. For me, music is all about the emotions in it, and that is what I hope people can hear from my songs. I've been playing the violin since I was 5 years old. I can also play just a little more than chords on the piano. A year ago, I first picked up the guitar and fell in love with it. Not being able to put it away, I play for an hour a day at least (I would play all day if it weren't for the fact that I'm also in college and I spend lots of time with friends and also have to study). I feel like I've made lots of progress in one year, but there's only so much you can really learn in a year's time - I can't pretend to sound like I've played for a decade or so. Therefore, I'm looking for someone who's a little more experienced playing guitar (I love that Americana feeling, so I definitely prefer guitar over other instruments). I can create melodies and chord progressions, but I'm not good enough to play difficult solos, for example. Well, that's about it, so if you're the writer I'm looking for, I'd love to hear from you!! :)

Songwriting Achievements:
As I've written in the About Me Section, I've performed in professional musical theater productions. In songwriting, I haven't really achieved a lot yet, except for the most important thing: writing songs! Oh, and buying my new Gibson feels like an achievement, although I'm not sure it counts ;). Okay no, but seriously, in this area there's not so much to mention yet, but I'm joining here because I'd like to change that - preferably together, because I think songwriters can learn a lot from each other!

Being able to do what I love and need most every day, becoming noticed as a musician and being able to perform a lot on large stages.
