I have written lyrics for years. Most I've written with no music, though I've written a couple for someone who had sent me tunes to write too. Country is my main genre, though I've written in different genre's. I am practicing keyboard,guitar and just purchased a dulcimer, hoping it maybe easier to learn to play, for it seems to be taking too long to put music to my lyrics. So I am seeking a collaboration with a songwriter, or musician to Co-write to mostly country lyrics, though I can write others( main stream) pop,some medal, but prefer country. Most my lyrics come to me at night after I'm comfortable in bed, it's like a fine tuned radio that won't stop till I get up and write them down. Of course it's write then rewrite for the next day or two. I can't really call writing lyrics a hobby for me, for it feels much stronger than that, it's like an invisible driven force, that continuously pushes me to accomplish more and get them out there for the world to hear.
