Hello everyone my name is Janis Lloyd--I've been a songwriter for over 20 years and a writer most of my life.Registered with BMI and have a pretty extensive catalog including most genres. I love to Collaborate with dedicated folks and am very easy to get along with.Published my 1st Christian poetry book "A Gift of Hope" 2014. I donate all proceeds to Charity.'.At this point in my life I now have more time to devote to creative endeavors and would love to collaborate with composers of all genres since my talent is best suited to being a lyricist though I have a good ear for music and would like to learn to play one or more instruments. I do have 4 guitars and a keyboard at my disposal.One of my friends who is recording his 1st cd is including a song I wrote for Tony Bennett called "Love Is Gonna Win". He's always been my favorite Singer since I was 15. I grew up with a lot of great music including a mom who sang and introduced me to great music of her era. So I have a love for most music and would love to write all styles.Back in the 90's I wrote 30 something songs with the former Music Director of the Temptations Sonny James waiting to be recorded and re-arranged for Artists today.I'm very open to collaboration and am very easy to work with.The end product is more special with 2 creative hearts...So am looking forward to putting this career back on track...
