When I Grow Up
This week's theme proved to be a good exercise in taking me back a good 30 years or so! When we're younger, we all have big aspirations of what we want to be when we grow up. Our hopes and dreams obviously change over time as we get older, and I tried to make this song reflect these. The first two verses basically recount thoughts from my childhood about what I wanted to do with my life, while the third verse does similar but through teenage eyes. The final verse states what I'm currently doing to make a living.
