    The conflict in this song is weird because it's demanding and withdrawing at the same time. The singer says that the person can't make a difference (then why sing a goodbye song?), yet the opening verse asks if, presumably, she, would come with you. I wonder if you meet the song's promise of knowing soon whether it snows on Mars? I feel like you need another verse to explore that. How is moving to Mars a solution? I think it would be great to end the song by admitting that Mars isn't such a wonderful idea, even though the singer's going to do it anyway.

    But at least I'll have tried"

    Don't get me wrong. I love this song. It's fun.
