Hey Duncan
For this week's theme, the name Duncan came to mind as it's similar to the basketball term known as dunkin'. I decided that I would make this character the protagonist in my song. I then thought about something along the lines of "the boy who wouldn't jam", but initially referring to music rather than basketball. I wanted to tell the story about a shy person who eventually worked up the courage to go out and have some fun., The choruses are in the form of conversations, with the style not too dissimilar to songs like "The Weight" and "Cats In The Cradle.". I've opted to go with short verses and longer choruses, with each individual section of the song different from each other.
