Embrace The Music
For this week's songwriting task, I decided to revisit an old song that I started working on back in 2016. I already had the verses and choruses worked out, so I just had to tweak those and there was the song's structure for me. The old version had a different title as well as some unfinished lyrics, but I ended up renaming the song and completely rewriting the lyrics. This was in order to fit in with the theme for this particular week. The final verse serves as a possible theme song for the online music collaboration site known as Bandhug, so in a way this week's submission could almost be considered "two songs in one." Truth be told, Bandhug was the very first thing I thought of when the new theme was revealed.
