Artist Info EViE H is a singer, songwriter, and producer who is determined to make it into the music industry. The singer was born on June 25, 1997 in Finspång, Sweden and was musically inclined at an early age. As a child, she listened to singers like Carola, Lena Phillipson, and ABBA which inspired her to write her own songs. She started playing the violin by second grade and wrote both instrumental and pop songs on it. In 2006, EViE's family moved to Houston, Texas and she continued her love of music by auditioning for talent shows and joining orchestra and choir. At the age of 13, EViE was inspired by Vanessa Carlton to start playing piano. She learned all the songs on Vanessa's album Rabbits on the Run as a beginner before she even knew the key names. Playing piano inspired a whole new era of music and her songs were now written in English rather than Swedish. After graduating from High School in 2015, EViE attended college and studied Exercise and Movement Science. College inspired her to write more upbeat songs and started producing on Garage Band and later upgraded to Logic. While in college, EViE submitted Demos to a couple of labels and was eventually signed to Not only Street Records until the label closed shortly after. In September 2020, EViE finally released her debut single, an independent home recording titled Feel like you which is a bittersweet ballad about being in different stages in a relationship. EViE continues to write music and is working on new singles and albums. EViE'S musical inspirations include Carola, Vanessa Carlton, Kelly Clarkson, Lana Del Rey, Taylor Swift, Marina and the Diamonds and Within Temptation.
