Michael McBroom

I've been a musician for over 50 years. I love all styles of music, except maybe hip-hop. I'm a guitarist. My specialty is classical guitar, although I play most styles. I've been composing music since 2000. My styles are varied -- from classical to zydeco, and just about everything in between. You can browse some of my music at Soundcloud. I've recently set up my own publishing company and I'm a member of ASCAP. I'm just not much of a song writer. Of all the tunes I have up at soundcloud, only one has lyrics. I realize that some of my tunes will not lend themselves easily to lyrics but I know that others will. So I'm hoping that I can work with a lyricist so we can convert some of my instrumentals to songs. Are you game? If so, get a hold of me.

John Heavern Michael McBroom

Greetings, my name is John Heavern. I have been a closet writer for years, my journey beginning as a relief valve for my pent-up emotions. I currently have over 160 complete lyrical poems of various subject matter and disposition I best describe as: "Lyrical poetry of observational introspection". I realize they may be too "lymricky" for some people’s tastes but are designed to accompany 4/4 musical composition and be “song-friendly”, complete with verses, repeating chorus and bridges. Poems are generally one full page, single-spaced, approximately 200 words. I have 5 music demos, three of which are videos on youtube. Music for demos created by musicians, videos created by myself. I believe this is what I was born to do, just now getting off my ass and DOING something about it! I can write or match completed work to almost anything...let's test that theory.
