Black & White – copyright – October 6, 2013

M.L.K. to J.F.K. freedom fighters all the way.

M.L.K. to J.F.K., black and white, freedom is here to stay,

It’s the American Plan of the Year, Plan of the Month, Plan of the Day!

Men and women have fought for your freedom, 24/7, night and day.

To give you the right to speak your “say”.

Millions do not step up to the plate.

The challenge is hard, the risk is great!

Millions do, men and white, proud of their Red, White and Blue.

For some it’s tradition, it’s in our blood.

To do what’s right, to stand up and fight!

M.L.K. to J.F.K., freedom fighters all the way.

M.L.K. to J.F.K., freedom fighters all the way.

They took the risk, willing to fight.  To do what’s right.

The uniform of the day, maybe khakis, dress blues, dungarees and dress whites…for others their choice is what feels right.  It will not be wrong, we dance to the same drummer, we sing the same song!

Our past generation is gone, our current, our future, our freedom moves on.

It’s not all black, not all white, you have it in your heart, to stand up, to fight, to do what’s right!

M.L.K. to J.F.K., freedom fighters all the way.

M.L.K. to J.F.K., freedom fighters all the way.

Many will cower, many will fall, the challenge to big, the risk to great.

They can’t give it their all.

Few will understand, what’s in your heart.  What’s in your heart tells you what to do.  You’re one of the proud, you’re one of the few.

What’s in your heart.  What’s in your heart tells you what to do.  You’re one of the proud, you’re one of the few.

Our blood, when we bleed, we bleed not black, not white, but red!

Our wounds of the fight all the same, the scars and the pain!

From the sailor, airman and soldier, the private to general, seaman to admiral…we stand up united, united to fight..shoulder to shoulder.

From the teacher, to the doctor, to the lawyer!

They educate, heal our wounds, fight for our wrongs against us!

Nobody stands at the back of the bus!

This freedom, the fight for all.  It’s not the color of our skin…

our heritage, our blood.

To do what’s right, for black, for white.

To stand up, to fight, to win!

M.L.K. to J.F.K., freedom fighters all the way.

M.L.K. to J.F.K., freedom fighters all the way.

In the darkness of the battle, of the fight.

We are not black, we are not white…

We are united by color, the color of the Red, White & Blue.

We are one of the proud, one of the few.

M.L.K. to J.F.K., freedom fighters all the way.

M.L.K. to J.F.K., freedom fighters all the way.
