30 years old. Been writing since I was 12. Have not had much opportunity to write and perform, but I have written lots of melodies and ditties that I did not ended up saving over the years, so I have grown a lot as a writer while not having much to show for it. I'm looking to finally start writing songs that make it to completion. I can make melodies quite easily, but struggle with lyrics and so I end up with a lot of song writing dead ends. I like to write meaningful songs, happy songs, thoughtful songs or fun songs. I do not care to write pop top 40 style songs, nor angry music. Coldplay, Kieth Green, Imagine Dragons, One Republic, Simon and Garfunkel, Bob Dylan, The Beatles, The Beach Boys, Queen, The Traveling Wilburys, The Eagles, Green Day, Garth Brooks, Taylor Swift, 2Pac, Ed Sheeran and many others. I like a lot of variety. The 90's are my favorite music decade, followed by the 60s.
