Jon Altham is a Singer-Songwriter and Multi-Instrumentalist. Apart from producing his own music Jon often collaborates and supports other musicians, whether that is through advising them how to approach certain ideas/projects or collaborating with them musically. Currently, he is working on composing music for a film and he is also working on music projects with various artists that are due to be released before the end of this year. ​ Music has always been a huge passion of his and Jon loves to be surrounded by people who share a similar mindset and vision. With that being said, he is always open to new ideas and influences. He says: "It is important to understand that the music industry is a fast-paced and forever changing market, you need to study the trends and spot new opportunities." ​ Recently, Jon has been focusing on the image he is portraying. He explains "Initially my artist name was JALTH which came from a nickname, the combination of my first and last name, however I found this to be confusing. The reason I chose the name was because I didn't know if my music would be good enough or be sucessful, I was unsure on how people would react to my music. It was quite daunting and I was hiding behind my music in a way. After the initial release of music through the name of JALTH I was shocked by the response I got from people from around the world. I was suddenly getting a lot of interest in my music and being offered collaboration projects to take things further, but something still wasn't quite right. That's why more recently, I decided to drop the name and use 'Jon Altham' instead. I feel much more confident in my ability and I feel ready to get the best out of my music. Music is and always will be a huge passion of mine, and I'd love to share that with others." ​ His aim isn't to sell quick records, his aim is to produce music which people can relate to and enjoy for a long period of time - Timeless classics with a Jazzy Twist! Growing up, Big Band and Jazz music was a massive interest to him and has been influential in the style of music he produces. He says: "There is something special about a live Big Band backing up the lead vocals whether that is with off-beat stabs in the music or softly backing a solo section, it gives it so much character and energy." ​ Jon is looking for someone who shares the same passion and drive as himself. They need to have a creative spirit, professional attitude and be an experienced lyricist.
