Hi, I am an active Musician, Composer and Producer living in Brisbane, Australia. I play a variety of instruments however playing guitar is what i do best. I’ve been to Music schools including the Conservatorium of Music in QLD and while I learned a lot about music History and Theory, I knew in my heart I needed to create, without restriction, and find my own path! This lead me back to my place of birth, Sydney, where I joined with a group THE LOUISVILLE SLUGGERS. The Sluggers were a driving swing band very similar to ROYAL CROWN REVUE and indeed we toured several times with RCR around Australia. I played a huge roll writing The Sluggers only album ‘BOUT TIME, with writing credits on most tracks. Nugget played drums and wrote lyrics and we made a great team. The next few years would see me return to Brisbane to join forces with an old friend. In 2006 we started REGATTA STUDIOS writing and mixing for the Film and TV industry. The work was mostly fun and we wrote some amazing pieces of music. The highlight was winning “Best Sound for an Advertisement in Australia” from the AUSTRALIAN SCREEN SOUND GUILD awards night in 2009 and 2011. Currently, Ive just wrapped an EP mix for a local band GRANVIL, and have recently stepped aside from a rock band PISTON FIST in which I played lead guitar and wrote all of the musical material. I first picked up a guitar on a farm in QLD when I was 13. I could never have imagined how profound the effect it would have on my life - For better or worse, I love writing music, it’s what I do best.
